My name is Gemma and I come from Nottinghamshire, England though you will more likely find me wandering aimlessly in Stockholm, Sweden.
I’ve been mooching around this mortal coil for 20 years and have spent roughly three quarters of that time reading some book or other.
My main goal in life is to become an English professor with a specialism in Anglo-Saxon literature/history.
Basically I want to be Tolkien 2.0.
I love languages - I have an A-Level in French (which proves nothing, I assure you) and can generally not sound like an incompetent foreigner in Swedish.
Music has a big ol’ attic space in my heart. I would only be half joking if I told you that I couldn’t live without Green Day.
I’m always learning some kind of string-based instrument - at the moment I can play violin passably and am learning ukulele and bass guitar.
At times I can be overly sarcastic so apologies in advance.
